Over the past few weeks, SABRE Risk has been supporting numerous clients attending the Dubai Airshow.

The Dubai Airshow is one of the world’s largest and most influential aerospace trade exhibitions, held every two years at Dubai World Central (Al Maktoum International Airport).

First launched in 1989, it has grown from a regional aviation fair into a global stage where commercial airlines, defense organizations, aerospace manufacturers, and space agencies converge to showcase new technologies, strike multibillion-dollar deals, and network with decision-makers.

The event features spectacular flying displays, extensive static aircraft exhibits, and conference sessions that cover emerging trends such as advanced air mobility, space exploration, and sustainability in aviation.

Today, the airshow attracts more than 1,500 exhibitors, 200+ aircraft, and well over 100,000 trade visitors from around the world, often ranking as the third-largest global airshow after Paris and Farnborough.

Beyond its impressive scale, it has become a key platform for Middle Eastern and international stakeholders to announce record-breaking orders, explore partnerships, and reinforce Dubai’s role as a strategic hub for aviation and defense.

The 2025 edition, took place from 17th to 21st November, more than just an exhibition, the Dubai Airshow is a critical deal-making hub and a showcase of the UAE’s ambition to lead the aerospace and defense sectors on a global stage.
